A top Realtor's schedule in Ft. Lauderdale is crazy but you are worth it
So what does a busy Realtor do all day long? I sleep in, work about 5 hours a day and have date night with my wonderful hubby, Barry, 3 nights a week. I never pick up my phone after 4pm and never answer it before 10 am. YEAH RIGHT!!!!! That was what I dreamed about last night when I got a couple of hours of shut eye. Instead I thought I would let you in on my real estate life so you could see how hard I work as a Realtor for Ft. Lauderdale and you.
My real estate days are scheduled something like this:
- I work 7 days a week averaging 12-14 hours a day.
- Friday is a short day as I take a half day to have date night with Barry. I love being married!
- I work Saturdays until around 4 pm then take time out to hang out and go to dinner with friends.
- Sundays after 4pm Barry and I try to catch a movie (I have to have a hobby)
My real estate morning typically starts out:
- I start at 8 am answering emails from clients all over the world that want to relocate to Ft. Lauderdale
- A conference call with my Customer Care dept @ 9:30 is a must. This is when we organize the day and make sure we take care of all our clients without missing a single one. Each one of you is very important to me and I never want you to feel like I am too busy for you.
- Listing issues or upcoming closings get taken care of here. My staff is excellent at keeping the flow going.
- This is usually wrapped up around 10:30 or so.
- My next stop is a new listing appt so keep them coming so I can stay busy. I hate sitting still. Oh yeah, I forgot what that was like so don’t let me remember.
My real estate mid day usually goes something like this:
- I take care of my new listing by visiting and talking to my new client to make sure I know exactly what they want. That is the best way I know to make you happy.
- Back at the office, I process the new listing and make sure it is marketed appropiately for the unique situation.
- I check up with my team buying specialists to make sure they are doing well and give them anything they might need from me.
- I double check with the agents on the Adler Team to make sure all listings are up to date and new listings are handled quickly.
- Then I check with the Adler Team Marketing staff to make sure all is being done to get your home out there and easily found by a potential buyer. I want to make sure your Broward County home is sold quickly and you get everything you need to out of the sale.
- Somewhere in there I grab lunch.
My afternoon looks like a whirlwind:
- I usually have at least one afternoon listing appt. Then I head home to finish my daily duties and get ready for my evening listing appt if I have one.
- I check my messages from my cell, home phone, office phone, etc and return each and every call by 9 – 9;30. I want to respect your evening as well by trying to get you taken care of early. I do like it when I can call the West Coast because I can do them last and still get them early in the evening their time. That is another advantage to living Ft. Lauderdale. I am so spoiled by all of you!
- Then I check my emails from the day and answer them as well.
Specialty things that get taken care of to make sure you as an Adler Team client know you are well taken care of are:
- We use a program called Top Producer that allows us to stay on top of each and every listing we have. I can make sure each individual listing gets the attention it deserves from both me and my staff.
- Every Tuesday, all of the realtors on our team stay late to follow up with potential buyers. They call those that can’t be reached during the week day to make sure we get your home sold quickly. Every one that calls on one of our homes is called as often as needed to make sure they get a chance to see the home.
- On average we generate 3-10 new potential buyers on Tuesday. That is how we can sell your home quickly.
Weekends look something like this:
- I take care of 1-2 listing appts. This is when I sit down and talk with you to make sure we are on the same page with how your home fits into the Ft. Lauderdale real estate market, pricing and how it is working, ect…
- We talk about my exclusive marketing plan of over 100 avenues we use to sell your home.
- I negotiate several contracts each weekend with the expert experience you in Ft. Lauderdale have allowed me to have. It works, trust me.
Are you tired just reading my schedule? It amazes me to look at it and know I actually do all this every day and still find it very rewarding to be a Realtor. I find it more than worth it when I see your smile as we put a “Sold” sign in the front yard.
I actually rest at some point each day. Rejuvenation is the key to staying on top of what you need from me in the real estate market in Ft. Lauderdale and I intend on doing just that. I keep a balance between work and home life by taking time to date my husband (I recommend that whole heartedly) and spending time with friends. This keeps me from getting burned out with such a crazy schedule and not being able to give everyone what they need while taking good care of myself.
I hope this gives you a reason to call me and the Adler Team to list your house or help you find a new home in Ft Lauderdale. We work tirelessly for you to give you the kind of customer service you deserve. You should never have to settle for less than perfection and I know how to give it to you. Talk to you soon. You now know how to reach me.
