Welcome back to our Wednesday series on Condo life and why it is so fabulous. I have already told you that I live in a condo and that I am partial to it. But that doesn’t meant that I can’t enjoy life outside of a condo. I just prefer the life here. The one thing I don’t worry about is safety. Let’s look at the safety aspect of why condo life is my favorite way to go in Broward County.
- Safety. The first and obvious thing is that you don’t have to worry as much with your safety. There are plenty of gated communities out there that give you the same feeling of security. I would be amiss if I didn’t’ admit that. However, knowing that I am the only one who can gain access to my garage makes me feel good. There are also several condominiums here in Broward County that have someone there to greet you when you drive up. That can only make you feel even safer.
- Security Cameras. Once you get into the garage, sometimes people would say that at night it would be a little scary to always have to go into a garage. It’s not at all. I have the peace of mind to know that my garage is well lit and that security cameras are all around. There isn’t a single blind spot in the building. That is another beauty of condo life. If you do find a blind spot, all you have to do is petition the association to put up another camera. Usually, if it deals with safety, there is no hassle.
- Elevators are wonderful. Also, if you are older, which I am not by the way, or clumsy, the added safety of an elevator makes all the difference. I never have to worry about dropping anything because I have to walk up the stairs. My elevator in my building takes care of getting me where I need to go. The added sense of security knowing that I don’t have to walk up and down stairs to get me where I need to go is worth it to me.
- Close neighbors. Sometimes this is a pro and a con, but if you need something, you don’t have to go far to get help. There is a neighbor just on the other side of the wall. If you are at all familiar with them and something happens to you, they are usually the first to arrive. After all, it takes a whole lot less time to call a neighbor that lives literally down the hall to gain help in an emergency than it does a neighbor down the street.
So why not enjoy the good life and let me show you the condo life as you have never seen it before. I have so many different options to show you that we could literally have fun for a week.
