Who hasn’t seen the movie Caddy Shack? Ok … who over the age of 30 hasn’t seen the movie Caddy Shack? Did you know that Caddy Shack was written by a famous West Palm Beach native, Douglas Kenney? Kenney, who founded the humor magazine National Lampoon in 1960 and went on to write parody humor pieces and movies such as Caddy Shack and Animal House, grew up enjoying the beautiful West Palm Beach sunshine.

So you have to wonder if he was a visionary as well with all the beautiful golf courses here in Broward County and the surrounding areas. But that is not all that a wonderful and legendary golf course of any degree has to offer. There are usually wonderful neighborhoods to go along with them. So why don’t you come join us on the first Thursday of each month when we will highlight a new golf course and a nearby fabulous neighborhood to live in so that you can live and golf at the same time.
