I found a great little article in the Sun Sentinel this morning about a movie by Catherine Gray titled Millionaires True Stories. It's all about 5 local every day people in Fort Lauderdale and how they have amassed millions. These people are regular Joe's just like you and me. The only difference is that they are worth millions and we are not. So let's take a look at who they are and hopefully you will go to see the movie at the Gateway Theatre on Saturday.
The only woman in the movie was not listed in the article. What a shame as I would have liked to have heard a little more about her. Smart move on their part as now I really want to go see the movie. You never know who you will meet just walking down the beautiful Fort Lauderdale beaches. So come on down and walk the streets. They are beautiful this time of year. Lauderdale, I noticed the "Millionaires' True Stories" on the marquis. Feeling drawn to the words, I went to the screening on Saturday and it was an amazing experience. First, all of the Millionaires' stories were heartwarming and sincere. Each one of them had faced their own obstacles and through hard work and perseverance, managed to find that their stamina had paid off. Each one of them was committed to their goals and found the rewards later down the road. Not one of the stories was "Get Rich Quick." At the end of the movie, I am sure that every viewer was feeling inspired. Ms. Catherine Gray, the producer, trotted up to the front of the theater and much to our dismay invited 5 of the 8 millionaires to the front to join us in an informal Question and Answer session. I really felt lucky that I had by chance found myself in this venue. I would encourage all to see this film. It is uplifting and inspiring. Even teenagers might benefit from seeing their stories. Ms. Gray shared with me that her dream is to bring this type of positive messaging to television audiences. I am not a fan of television, but I believe that TV viewers would definitely find this type of programming to be a breath of fresh air. Of all the movies that I have seen this year, I would definitely put Millionaires' True Stories on the top of my Must See list. This wisdom and postive message of this movie could change peoples lives for the better! For more information, I believe that the website is: http://www.millionairestruestories.com Enjoy!
