Living near the Stars - Venus and Serena Williams

I love talking about the celebrities that live near my home. Broward County has so much to offer that I could talk to you all day. However, it is the first Monday of the month and I want to continue in our series Living with the Stars by looking at the Williams sisters, Venus and Serena. I don’t get enough time to sit back and watch a lot of sports. But when I do, I don’t mind watching a little tennis every once in a while. I especially like to see how the sibling rivalry of the Williams sisters, Venus and Serena, plays out when they have to battle each other.

Did you know they live not too far from here? Just down the road a blink in Palm Beach Gardens as a matter of fact. Ballen Isles is home to the Williams sisters and they love the fun and sun they get here. The city of Palm Beach Gardens shouts quaint. The city touts over 30% of land mass specifically reserved for green space. That makes for a beautiful landscape. Golf, award-winning Art and Public Places programs and wonderful neighbors like the Williams sisters makes Palm Beach Gardens the ideal place to live and relax.

They have a modest 4 bedroom, five full and 2 ½ baths that resides on just under a beautiful acre of West Palm Beach vista. I was surprised to find that their home is modest and not outrageous as the girls could probably afford a mansion with the success they have had in the tennis arena. I am always impressed when a celebrity, especially a sports celebrity, decides to live within a regular person’s means and not go for a 9000k square foot home. It just makes me like them more. So when you are down here in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County, stop by and see the Williams sisters’ beautiful home.
