Hundreds of thousands of Californians were evacuated to safer places such as Qualcomm Stadium. I was pleased to see that there was law and order unlike Hurricane Katrina. I was also encouraged to hear today that some of the evacuees have been allowed to return to their homes. I am sure that homes and lives will be rebuilt soon enough. I just hope that you will continue to remember our fellow Americans out there and do what you can to help. Here are some ways you can help them: So keep plugging forward, California, and know that we are with you in whatever we can do for you. I have a confession to make. This post has NOTHING to do with real estate. Every once in a while I will give you a little taste of life outside Fort Lauderdale real estate and I hope you like it. I just love trying to figure out whether all those emails ar etrue or not. I just don't have the time. But sometimes one catches my eye and I am interested in spending the time. With all the media hype about MRSA and washing your hands, I found the recent story of a 4 year old little girl to be enlightening. Meta Data |

I love unique homes. I thought I would share that enjoyment with you and show you some of the most unusual homes I can find. Most of these homes will not be located in my beautiful Fort Lauderdale, but you will enjoy them none the less.
Hope you liked the homes I chose today. Let me know and we will show more unusual architecture next week. Talk to you later,

With all the news coming out of California, we, on the East Coast are very grateful for a (so far) easy hurricane season. Natural disasters are so hard to imagine much less live through. Having to evacuate from your home while smelling fire must be horrifying. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Southern California. Thousands of homes have been lost to fire so far and the dollar amount of damage, I am sure, will be in the millions.
I love to see people come and visit my fair city of Fort Lauderdale. I love it even more when you decide to stay and I can help you find a new home to relocate to. But how do you get here? The Sun-Sentinel had a great article on Sunday about
