What really makes Christine Adler the Realtor tick

Welcome back! I'm Christine Adler. I've found in this business, that clients want to know who they're working with. Here is a little background. At the end, I hope you understand who I am. I look forward to meeting you as well!

I was born in New York and have lived most of my life in Dade and Broward County, Florida. My father owned Officer’s Clubs on military bases and as a child I have lived in many places including the Philippians, New York and Key West, Florida.

I went to high school in Miami Springs and started my real-estate career early by helping my mother oversee rental units in Miami. I then moved to Boone, North Carolina where I went to Appalachian State University. My mother wasted no time in purchasing several rental units in North Carolina. After all, her best property manager (me!) was now living there. I graduated with a BSBA (bachelors of Science in business administration) with majors in construction, design, and insurance.

I moved back to Florida and found a job in Broward County working at State Farm as an insurance adjuster for home owners insurance. This position gave me a chance to work with my background in building, real-estate and design. High-end homes needed that special touch and insight, and I was able to be there with my personal touch.

I later met the love of my life, a Doctor named Barry. In a short period of time we became inseparable. On February 14, 1993, while at Disney World, I got the shock of my life when Mickey and Minnie came with a ring for Barry and a pillow to kneel on! July 4 of the next year was that special day that made us a formal family. I was thrilled to take on a ready made family of three boys; Joshua, Jared and Jordan, who were all living with their mom at the time. The boys took turns, one at a time, between living with Barry and I or their mother. During this period I worked in the practice with Barry in addition to doing some decorating and design work. Little did I know that I had married into one of Broward County's biggest real-estate families.

Barry had been a licensed realtor since 1977. He had put himself through school selling homes in St. Louis, Missouri. Barry’s mother, Addy Adler had been Broward’s top agent with over a quarter billion in sales. In addition, she was a lifetime achievement award winner with Re/Max.

Sadly, Barry suffered a heart attack and received open heart surgery. This caused him to close his practice and retire. I then went back to my (other) true love - Real Estate. I am now a top producer and specialize in luxury and waterfront homes as well as in commercial and investment properties. Within my first year with Re/Max I won the President’s award, and in my second year became a platinum producer, which is one of Re/Max's highest honors for being a top producer.

Presently, I am happy to report being a top real estate professional who specializes in luxury and waterfront residential and condominium sales in Broward County, Ft. Lauderdale and Hollywood areas. My expertise in the condominium and home market has allowed me to do what I love best - helping people find the home of their dreams, while selling theirs fast for the best price. My involvement with "First Time Home Buyers" is especially rewarding as I have helped many young people achieve their dream of home ownership.

My high tech approach to the business enables me and my team to keep in close contact with my clients and to constantly learn and use new marketing techniques for my listings. I particularly enjoy working with people who are relocating to the area for retirement or those who are just starting new careers in this lovely community.
