Location, Location, Location! Ever wonder why it is such a sticking point when looking for real estate property? It’s because it can make or break a real estate deal, even here in Broward County, Fort Lauderdale, and Hollywood, Florida. School districts. Are they a concern for you? We can tailor your search as to what you need.
Transportation. Do you need to have access to the main highways for a commute? Homes usually have better value the farther away form the main highways and railway systems. Cul-de-sac homes usually hold their value better as do homes in the middle of the block. There is more traffic on the corners
Demand. Are you looking in a high demand real estate area of town? If you are looking to save a little money and can drive an extra 10 minutes one way, I can save you thousands in the long run.
Property Taxes. Pay close attention to this. I will never forget a client that came to me one day and asked if I knew about property taxes. Turns out, the previous realtor didn’t warn her about the taxes on her new home and the taxes increased her monthly payment by $450. She couldn’t afford to stay there and had to move. I felt so sorry for her.
What kind of neighborhood do you need? This is important to the culture of a neighborhood. Are you older and want a quiet spot? Are you a socialite and want to live downtown near the theaters? Maybe you want a quaint little street for your kids to ride bikes. These things need to be considered.

So location is VERY important when thinking about buying a home. But think about this. Location is just as important in real estate when selling your home.
